Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
